In this project, we had to explore how to create particle disintegration effects. However, I reverse the disintegration and created a transformation from the Mocap suit into another character to make it more interesting.
The character and animation are from Mixamo. Particles are simulated in Houdini and rendered in Mantra.
Originally, I turned on the emission of the particles to make it looks more magical, but the emission makes the particles look a bit flat. Here is the other version with emission on:
